Why should it be that art imitates life; why not have life imitate art?
Whether it’s a wedding or any special event, a portrait of a loved one or cherished family pet, the photographs should be as extraordinary as the subject. A Long Beach-based photographer, I have worked in the Los Angeles county area for over two decades, providing clients with tasteful, artistic and unforgettable images that perfectly capture their unique stories—in the way that they want them told. I do not believe in prompting or in controlling the moment. I prefer instead to let things unfold naturally, and to remain an unobtrusive presence.
In addition to weddings—always shot as a team with my partner Karen Hamman (See “About Amy & Karen page)—I specialize in Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, children’s portraiture, event photography, and pet portraiture. I also shoot product and architecture photography and have an extensive collection of stock landscape images available as well.
